Description
Teams of two students will quizzed on living creatures that take flight including birds and insects.

Up to 2 / 45 minutes
The Competition
1. Students will be quizzed in the form of a test on the basic terms and concepts related to living things that fly including bats, birds, and insects.
2. Students will
categorize a list of living things and characteristics of living things as a bat, bird, bug (insect), or other/neither.
3. Students will be asked to match the common name of an organism with its classification order of only those organisms and orders listed below in the General Content section.
3. Students will be asked focused questions related to history, habitat, diet, family life and conservation efforts of only the organisms listed below as Special Focus Content for this year's Olympiad.
4. Students will have 45 minutes to complete the written test. Time is not a scoring
factor.
