ESO 2009 Final Facts
Announcing the 2009 Team Winners
The Donoho School (Anniston) earned medals in 20 of 28 events including 6 first place finishes to capture the overall team title and end Kitty Stone Elementary's six-year run as team champion. Kitty Stone (Jacksonville) finished in second. St. Bede Catholic of Montgomery placed 3rd. Three Jefferson County schools took places 4 through 6 with Gardendale in 4th, Clay Elementary in 5th, and Pleasant Grove in 6th in the overall team standings.

Congratulations!
Congrats to all 26 of our participating schools in the largest ESO at JHS competition in our 16-year history. Over 500 students participated in events in 2009 including students from Adamsville, Alexandria, Ashville, Chalkville, Clay, Corner, Crumly Chapel, Donoho, Gardendale, Hillview, Hueytown, Irondale, Kermit Johnson, King's Co-op, Kitty Stone, Lincoln, Lipscomb, Minor, Oak Grove, Paine, Pleasant Grove, Saks Elementary, Saks Middle, St. Bede, Stowers Hill, and West Jefferson. Thanks for helping make ESO 2009 a huge success!
