Announcing the 2005 Team Winners
Kitty Stone Elementary claimed its third straight team championship by medalling
in 18 of 28 events including 9 first place finishes enroute to the ESO 2005
team title. The Donoho School of Anniston finished second, St. Bede Catholic
of Montgomery third, and Hall-Kent of Homewood fourth in the overall team
standings.

Amazing Architects
Donoho's Bryce St. Clair and Rachel Matson used just 50 plastic straws and
20 straight pins to design a 40 cm tall tower that held over 400 grams of
weight. Good for the gold medal in ESO's newest event Straw Tower.
